Who to Contact For Help with an Issue or Concern

As part of our Strategic Directions work to build a Culture of Responsiveness, we want to be sure that all of our families know who to contact for assistance with inquiries and concerns having to do with the school sites or the District.

The first point of contact to facilitate a swift answer to any inquiry is the school site and it begins with the classroom teacher or other appropriate staff member. After following the process at the school site, if there is the need to contact personnel from the District, information on who to contact and where to get support and questions answered have been added to the District website. Please also view this easy to use quick reference guide.

The SRVUSD and its school sites welcome the opportunity to assist our community. If you have any questions about the process for seeking help, please contact Debbie Gluchowski.

Tik Tok Warning

We recently sent home information about a social media trend that has gone viral called the Devious Licks Challenge. We want to thank you for partnering with us to speak to your children about the dangers inherent in partaking in the challenge. We have recently been made aware that though the challenge has been removed from social media, the trend may be continuing. The next challenge is purported to be ‘slap a teacher.’ There are other future challenges planned, as well.

As a precaution, we wanted to partner with you, our families/caregivers, once again, to speak to your children about the very real consequences associated with participating in these challenges. We take all incidents seriously and if students are caught participating in illegal activity, the appropriate discipline will be administered, including possible police involvement.

Thank you for partnering with us to support students. If you have any questions about the Devious Licks Challenge, please contact the communications department.
